I live by the 4Rs - refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle. It’s in my bones to consider how I can conserve and remember the gifts this miraculous planet gives us all the time.

It’s no surprise that most of the paper I use in my work is recycled copy paper, old books, maps, or sewing patterns. The lines and words on these papers may add subtle meaning, texture or some humor.

My agenda is pretty obvious as words like love, peace, hope, etc. show up in my art sometimes! What I like to do is bring art into this world that gives goodness and connects us to each other. Like this art which is called Garden Comic - meant to be somewhat ironic. As the beloved dog has a great time digging up the beautiful flowers, her people are not amused! Ha.
